The X-Ray Telescope (XRT) on Hinode is a broadband soft x-ray imager with a wide field of view and ~1 arcsec pixels. It has a selection of passband channels which enable multiple views of the solar corona, for both qualitative studies (e.g., active region topology) and quantitative studies (e.g., weighted plasma temperatures). Careful consideration of the instrumental and methodological capabilities are necessary to understand the best usage of XRT data, especially for both standalone and multi-instrumental temperature analysis. This presentation addresses the issues.
