Lecture arrangements

All lectures will be held in the Bell Lecture Theatre in the Main Building of the School of Mathematics and Physics (marked L on the campus map which is available here). There will be a laptop and projection facilities in the Lecture Theatre, as well as whiteboards. A local “helper” will always be on duty to deal with technical matters, provide directions etc.

Most lecture slots are 90 minutes, and there are 5-minute breaks mid-way through. Some small amount of co-ordination among lecturers might remove some duplication and ensure all appropriate material is covered.

Electronic copies of lectures

We would like to make the lectures available for download by the students, rather than distributing hardcopies. Please drop off your file using the Queen’s University dropbox here, with recipient r.ryans@qub.ac.uk. Note the filesize limit is 1GB. Alternatively, you can use your own dropbox service, with the same recipient at Queen’s University, or just use email if the total message size is under 10MB. We will need your lectures by Wednesday 26th August 2015 at the latest.
